Through the years, Villa Erba has consolidated its position as a highly sought after choice for premier events by automotive companies. The latest feather to its cap was hosting the Ducati Motorcycles Global Dealer Conference from 14th to 17th October 2017.

Veitshöchheim/Germany, 22 November 2017: Villa Erba on Lake Como boasts of a rich history of hosting important events for prestigious automotive companies. It is indeed a favored destination by top brands like Ferrari, Porsche, Scania, Hyundai and Volkswagen. Most recently, it hosted the Ducati Motorcycles Global Dealer Conference from 14th to 17th October 2017. Ducati used this venue to showcase an exclusive premier of new models of Borgo Panigale to thousands of new dealers across the world.

In August 2017, the new Volkswagen crossover T-Roc was revealed to the international press at Villa Erba . The Volkswagen team, including Mr. Peik Von Bestenbostel, Head of Communications and Mr. Herbert, Diess CEO, was extremely pleased with the event. Mr. Diess exclaimed during his welcome speech, “It’s good to see you here at Lake Como – one of the most prestigious places to launch a new car!”  After the presentation, the guests moved outside to enjoy dinner by the beautiful Lake Como.

In May 2017, the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este and Villa Erba were the exclusive and unique settings of Concorso d’Eleganza, the motor show where guests were privileged to admire the finest historic vehicles and motorcycles of their eras. 51 cars and 40 motorcycles manufactured from the turn of the century to current models to prototypes for upcoming designs were presented at the event. The beautiful vintage cars were a perfect fit to the picturesque backdrop of Villa Erba.

In February 2016, the world première of the new Ferrari V12 took place at Villa Erba. On this said event, Ferrari clients from all over the globe gathered at the Villa to admire the new race car. They all spent an exciting time, with speeches, a great programme, live music and much more. The highlight of the evening: the unveiling of the formular 1 car with racing drivers Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen aboard.

About Villa Erba

Villa Erba, a historical edifice built in the 18th century, is located in Cernobbio, a village in the province of Como, in northern Italy. It houses an International Exhibition and Congress Centre which hosts a large number and variety of events and congresses every year.

The Exhibition and Congress Centre consists of an area of over 10,000 square meters. It has a round pavilion and three adjacent wings: Lario, Cernobbio and Regina, where there is enough room enough for more than 500 stands.
