The second (2nd) Tórshavn Bridgefestival is to be held in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, from 06.03.2020 to 07.03.2020

The tournament’s 2019 edition was a full success, so now it is time for the international Bridge community to take the opportunity to come to the Faroe Islands for the second one.

The capacity of the tournament is 100 pairs, so far 34 pairs have registered – there is space for more!

The local bridge community is small – around 50 members; but the Faroese people are known to organise great events, so open arms for more players or for other similar communities to hold their event on the Faroe Islands!

Jón Baldursson, member of the Bridge Hall of Fame, and former world champion, is teaming up with local legend Dánjal Pauli Mohr as pair no 29 to the 2nd Tórshavn Bridgefestival 2020! More updates you find on the event facebook site

ORGANISER of the event is the Faroese Bridge Association (website in Faroese language only) and the event will take place at the Hotel Foroyar, (see head image) which is beautifully located with splendid views – the hotel has a choice of meeting rooms and a ball room and is well equipped for all kinds of corporate events!
