Hello Everyone! We here at tmf-dialogue marketing wish you a super successful and happy New Year 2018!  As we start another ‘revolutionary’ cycle around the sun, here’s a quick glance at the year that went by, and the year we are looking forward to.

The previous year was a highly eventful one for the MICE market as it gained more importance and hold – being not only related to the overall tourism sector, but also to the event and tradeshow industry (which occupies a major part of companies’ marketing budgets). It also gained importance with respect to the purpose of congresses by leaving positive legacies and to reaching out to new markets. New trends emerged, new venues, superior technology, more involved experiences found their way and became a part of this industry. The future looks bright and promising, as the MICE industry gallops into 2018 with a world full of possibilities. On our level, we worked with and for a wide range of exciting destinations, new digital projects and with IMEX Frankfurt as their long-term partner in communication.

Right at the beginning of the new year, we have the Best of Events (BOE) International Exhibition on 10-11 January 2018, at Dortmund in Germany. It is one of the most popular experiential marketing tradeshows in Germany with an international outreach. The most advanced technologies in every area of the event industry can be found on display here and acute challenges like security at events and skills shortage will be discussed. This is followed by a FAMtrip specially tailored for congress-organizers to Qatar from 3-6 February 2018. A privileged few invitees get to experience the best of what Qatar has to offer to the congress- and event industry. tmf’s first online magazine last year (with Latvia as the theme) was very well received and we wholly intend to continue the series this year with more interesting destinations and topics. More projects are in the pipeline and we will continue to communicate these and other news through our wide digital communication network to the international community of meeting planners.

Our operations in India for 2018 focus on our quickly growing epex tradeshow and roadshow – the experiential planner brand has gained a strong position and we will again showcase a wide range of international MICE destinations to the Indian outbound organizers of events and weddings. Other products supplement our success-proof range of activities in India – reaching out to other upcoming South-East Asian players in the event scenario.

We are eagerly looking forward to all this and much more at tmf-dialogue and hope that 2018 turns out as awesome and lively as last year.
