Q: Please introduce yourself and let IBTM Visitors know what your goal is for this years IBTM – how often have you been in Barcelona, who do you want to meet, and what is the most exciting reason to come and see you at the stand of H33 Visit Faroe Islands?

A: My name is Nancy Justinussen and I´m the Sales & Marketing Executive International at Atlantic Airways. I have attended IBTM in Barcelona for many years. This year I look forward to meet both new and old partners and to tell about Atlantic Airways and news in how we connect the North Atlantic. Among other we have great news for visitors coming from the US with more and better connections via KEF to the Faroe Islands.

Q: Now, What’s NEW in the destination and in your company?

  • Atlantic Airways will open Atlantic Airways Aviation Academy in the beginning of 2025. The simulator is a State of the Art Helicopter and Flight simulator. The Atlantic Airways Aviation Academy will be the most advanced and versatile simulator center in Europe.

  • Atlantic Airways is extending the season for Barcelona (BCN) and London (LGW) will also be in the program in 2025.

  • Atlantic Airways has signed new codeshare and interline agreements starting in 2025. The Codeshare agreement with Icelandair will give you the possibility to fly with Atlantic Airways from multiple cities in the US via KEF to the Faroe Islands.

  • Atlantic Airways will connect you from several countries around Europe – Denmark, Norway, England, Scotland, Iceland, France and Spain.

  • New Helicopter Sightseeing tours in 2025 – it will be possible to experience the magnificent Helicopter Sightseeing Tours around the island Vagar.
