SKRUNDA MANOR
Situated in the West of Latvia, between Liepaja and Kuldiga (see also this introduction to Western Latvia), the Skrunda Manor complex consists of a manor house with a four-star hotel with 12 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a central celebration hall and a conference room. The Manor SPA is a wonderful place to relax after a long week of work. There are 5 more rooms at the SPA building. The manor is located in a scenery park that invites guests to go for walks, enjoy a beautiful environment and admire the mighty oaks planted more than a hundred years ago.

Milk Manor Berghof – Piena Muiza
Also in the West, in the vicinity of Skrunda Manor, another beautifully renovated manor is located. The Milk Manor Berghof was initially built as hunting residence of a Courland squire, Baron von Medem. One of the most brilliant Latvian neo-rococo interior examples, used then as a primary school, recreation and training centre of the Liepāja Dairy Plant, it links to the past through it’s Dairy Industry Museum – with a unique exposition and attractive excursions with practical experiments: milking a cow and making butter.(only in summer)
